Uploading Pictures—The Easy Way

Pull your picture up in “PAINT” program; then, click on “Resize”; Reduce by percentages until your picture is in the 400 to 500 pixel range; SAVE.

At the bottom of your new post, click on, “Upload Attachment”

Then, BROWSE to find picture; then, “ADD THE FILE”

Put your curser where you want the picture to go in your post….

Then, “PLACE IN LINE”.

Penny,

If you're using Widows, PAINT, is a built in program. You can draw, edit pictures (crop, resize, rotate, add text, etc.), and a whole lot more stuff that I can't figure out.

Click on the Start button, then, Programs, then, the Accessories folder. PAINT is in ACCESSORIES.

I keep it on the desktop just to resize pictures for emailing and for posting them here at POA.

Yes sir, you can keep them in "My Pictures", or create another file, rename them, etc. Our server has the ability to hold the pictures. So.... you just add them (from wherever you have them saved) to your post as an attachment.

Hey,

The photobucket deal is fine, but you know how it goes....... if you update, edit or get too much clutter in your album, then you loose the links. If you attach the pics to the POA server, they'll be here as long as the site stands.
