Profile and window laid out, off to the band saw.

Cutting out the window making sure to leave meat in the corner for a 1/4" radius

Now there starting to look like something.

I chuck up Hogitha in the drillpress and start shaping the shelf.

Next I surface the arrow pass.

Then finish with a 1/2" bur file.

The next step is shaping on the spindle sander and a lot of hand filing
Image

All done sanded with the orbital sander and a spindle in a drill motor. Just a little hand work left

Time to stipple, first lay out to desired pattern
Image

Then outline with a trench all the way around. I use a 3/23" bur
Image

Now just fill in the field. Takes me about 30-40 minuets to do a riser
Image
Image

Going to add a little Bling to these two :o

Well finally done.
