Eddings super cast

Postby marc » Fri Apr 08, 2011 12:01 pm

A good buddy dug his old bow out of the basement and asked if I could get some info on it. It is a Eddings cadet II, made in McGregor Iowa. It is 50# and 64" AMO, 50's style recurve with a zebra riser and green glass. It also has brown tip overlays and black leather wrapped handle. serial # is 8677. Anyone know anything about it? I will post pics if you need to see it. Thanks

I hear they are very good; forgiving & smooth. I own one. But I wouldn't know: arrived with a through & through cracked riser. The only time I've ever been burned on ebay. And this by a previously trusted vendor from whom I had purchased many nice bows from in the past. Go figure! I didn't sqauwk & just ate the cost. Still would like to have one to shoot but they don't pop up too often & I, too, would like to hear anyone's personal thoughts, experiences & etc.
