It was a very cold and lonely day sitting in my hunting blind , not much wild life was a stirring. I was about to nap , when I heard a clatter, I sprung to knees to see what was a prancing. When what to my surprize was a buck a come a rutting. I threw up my bow , and quick as a flash I let my arrow fly. And what to my wondering eye's appeared, a little red dot on the side of the deer. Off like a flash the deer did run, only to make it a short little dash .As I threw open my flap, I tripped in the snow and said "oh, no,no" I rose to my feet , and shouted with glee " venison to all, but especially me." Have yourself a happy hunting holiday. Marty, . :D

A few from Aus fellas all shot with checkmates and 55/75's with Tusker aztec broadheads up front.
The boar was shot in the Northern territory stalked up to a 5 mtrs shot while he was sleeping in his bed.
The goat was taken at about 10 mtrs when he stopped to see what spooked him it was a great trip recently to New Zealand on a recent hunt and boy was it cold hense the binni on me head.
Cheers Enjoy

Ben the boar is NT the goat was with Doctari NZ with Steve.
Trying to organise a cham/Thar hunt with him at the moment for next year will see what comes out of it.
I love that place the hunting is extream and the countryside ballistic.
Merry xmas mate.

Whacked a couple of R.O.U.S. (Rodents Of Unusual Size) yesterday. These are Nutria (Myocastor coypus) which are a non-native invasive species here in Oregon. (Basically land carp) These two were tearing the hell out of a buddy's back yard, crapping on EVERYTHING and scaring his wife and kids on a regular basis.

Capped the small one with a headshot through the bushes. The big one however I double lunged at about 10 yards on the hoof as he sprinted for cover. Turns out nutria are deathly allergic to Magnus Snuffer's. The recurve is the first take-down I made back in 2006.
