I just can not purchase columnar alumnium block easily,I like to solve a problem,so...

I start to thinking my next bow,here is a picture in my office,that deficiency rose wood block is a big annoyance to me.
ps.I will weld that tillering block together tomorrow.

As an added bonus, if you use 4 washers you know exactly where the centerline mark is for the tillering block (the split line between washer #2 and washer #3). I think I'm going weld some washers up tonight. Thanks Hera, great idea. :mrgreen:

One tip that I learned from Brandon Stahl of Rose Oak Creations is if you make the tillering blocks the same width as the rough cut tips, then you just mark them on each side and wah-lah, there is the outline for the tips. Jim
