No problem. We had a daughter at MIzzou and went down there regularly. I particularly recommend flying into St. Louis and then over to Jefferson City - especially if you like whitewater kayaking.

I'm looking at two dates...April 16-17 or April 23-24. I still need to confirm the location. Right now, American Legion Park looks like the best location. It has a picnic shelter, grill, a bathroom, plenty of parking, and a public archery range where we could do our hand shooting. I will just need to reserve the shelter. I'm assuming that we can machine shoot the bows inside the shelter with a heavy duty plywood backstop. I'm thinking we should shoot them in there first and beg for forgiveness if questioned.

Missouri spring turkey hunting season should be April 19 (Monday) - May 9 (Sunday).

Cool, I will be in Columbia for work this week and will drive by and take a look. I hope I can make it. The 2nd date will work better for me. Flint :)

hey Jimmy,

you might wanna check with the powers that be, about setting up a shooting machine in that shelter. we might be able to hang some tarps om 3 sides of one end for a wind break and saftey.

That would be a bad scene if we got all set up and they shut us down. they may want us to set up on the range for some reason.

food for thought. Kirk
