Big Foot Terrorizes Redding

Postby Bender » Mon May 06, 2013 9:21 am

Took first in AMLB at NFAA 3D Nationals at Redding. Didn't break the record I set last year, but did manage to meet my basic goal. Broke 1000 with a score of 1001. Talk about cutting it close. The second day was horrible. High heat with swirling winds and dust devils. It was bad for everybody, but my allergies truly kicked my butt. Felt like I was trying to pull a 100# bow.

Congrats !
When you take your kid hunting and he says thank you and tells you how much he loves being in the woods with you, your day just isn't going to get any better than that.

Congrats! I never shot a real NFAA shoot. From what the old timers around here tell me, they can be really challenging.

Thank you guys!

And those old timers are right TommyBoy. But the difficulty never lies where you think it might, like tough shots, long yardages or whatever. Its in things like dealing with hordes (herds?) of people, or getting stressed over wanting to shoot well, stuff like that.

Thanx Ben.

And there is NO looking bad at Redding. For a stickbow shooter to show up shows a guy willing to step up to the plate and try his hand at doing something that was actually set up for compound shooters with sights and whatnot.
