Redding

Postby Bender » Mon May 09, 2011 9:14 pm

Got home Sunday night from the NFAA National Marked 3D. Long story short, shot my woodies against carbons and aluminum. I was invited to file an equipment protest, which I was assured I would win. Sticking to my principles to win by shooting, not whining, I took top Longbow score by 14, coming from behind by 10 points on the start of the last day. Its amazing how being supremely POed can really sharpen your focus and improve your shooting.
I went in to that thing intending to win that shoot. It was a bastard but I did it. As hard as it is to believe, I am a National Champion.
Somebody pinch me.

Outstanding!
You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

Thank you!
I'm sure I'll do it again sometime, maybe not next year, depends on the State Broadhead that year. (Not going this time because I went to Redding.) Its worth going, even for stickbow shooters. Just be aware that since its compound oriented it is mostly small targets at long distances.
