can you show how you do the antler overlay? Is it thin enough to flex or do you shape it to match the riser deflex?
there are 2 dates on your marker.Your life is the dash in between.

Hello 4nolz,

I don't have any pictures how I do the antler overlay but I shape it such that it matches more or less the riser deflex. This is a visual process that can take a while. Also moderate heating and bending will do, but only when the antler overlay is thin enough that it can bend without breaking.
When both riser and overlay match the form I glue both parts and I press it, using a hard rubber strip, to the riser so that an even pressure to both surfaces is established.

Take care,

Arnold
