Osage static recurve..I think about 64" with 4' recurves 50lbs at 27"
tips boiled and bent in one go
Small strip of osage boiled and bent to same shape and laminated onto the belly of the recurve with G2 to keep the recurve from pulling out

Hey all.. I am new to this site but not new to building bows. I got bitten by the bow bug about 4 years ago and it just keeps getting worse..LOL

Here are a few I have done:

These were for my 5 kids for christmas a couple of years back

This is the 3rd bow I ever built and still use it to this day. (Only because I have not had time to build myself a new one! LOL)

I've spent the last 30 minutes or so looking at ALOT of bows I've never seen before. I'm amazed at the talent here! It's really neat to see everyone creations! They all do the same thing but are constructed in so many different and beautiful ways!! Here's a few of the most recent bows I've made. 2010 and 2011. I had some of my other bows on about page 2 and it is kinda neat to see how your bows evolve!

What an outstanding display of talent and variety of designs are posted here, I am truly grateful to be able to access these pages. I have only made a few bows but I will put up some pictures all the same, in the spirit of the thread.

The first two pictures show the first bow from my DR form, a 70"NTN 57#@28" bow I made for my son (kwila riser with New Guinea Rosewood and Silver Ash accent, boo core). The next pic shows a 68"NTN 57#@28" bow I made for myself. It has Burdekin Plum Riser with New guinea Rosewood, Purpleheart and Silver Ash mosaic, boo core.
