Hi guys!

I've made a bow backed bamboo but after a fews shots he developed this little crack in belly:

I'm wondering if is there any way to save him?

Thanks!

Ouch!

I'm not a bowyer, but that looks like a fatality to me.
You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

Dean Torges has a build-along on how to repair such cracks. Check out his website www.bowyersedge.com I think. He has a lot of good writing on his site, so looking for what you need should be fun/educational. I think it's under the writings tab.

Thanks very much Steve!

I found the article, and certainly I will try what he suggest.

Cheers

Dam that sucks.. Just my opinion but by the time you do a patch or grind off and re do lams. You could have built a completely new bow with out troubles... Good luck whatever you choose...
