New elk bow

Postby Dan » Wed Apr 30, 2014 6:21 pm

Here is my new hunting bow. It has a 19" riser with a .180" strip of fiberglass thru the sight window from belly to back. The bow is 64" long, the limbs have .040" glass with 3 lams of action boo, 2 parallel and .001" taper. It is just under 1.5" wide. It draws 55#@30" a 10gpp arrow shot at 30" with a 7" brace height out of my shooting machine goes 195fps

Puuurty! I like that last photo of the detail in the grip.
You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

195 @ 10 gpp is nothing to sneeze about.... Great numbers, and good looking DFC chart too. I love the limbs on that thing , but i'm not fond of the action wood personally..... Nicely done bro..... :D

Only archers are fool enough to want to make a composite with natural materials and man made materials, and then bend it repeatedly...
