question on form

Postby ojibwe » Sat Feb 01, 2014 4:29 pm

I have a question about when flipping parallel wedges on my form I noticed the wedge tilts up and there is an appreciable amount of space between wedge and form.can I shim the area so when I load up my hose it has more to work against?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Vince

To get the best results you will want the flat of the wedge to be against the form. I guess another way to do it would be a full tapered wedge then grind a small flat for the bolt area.
