22 S&W for Helen

sold a couple of bows...I ordered one of these for Helen today..She really likes my old Gen 1 Glock 17 but this one will be much cheaper to shoot at the range, the Glock is Her night stand and every day gun.. I have a good amount of 22 ammo I bought 5 or 6 years ago so we are good to go. I hope she likes it. Image

excellent choice!
You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

I also considered the ruger SR22. I have been happy with the S&W bodyguard 380 That is my "pocket pistol"..so another Smith and Wesson seemed like a good choice..

The 22 came in yesterday..I took it home and cleaned and oiled it. I think it will work nicely for us. We will not have time to shoot it till next week.

I finally shot the 22 yesterday. It shot nicely with no problems. I liked the trigger pull and think Helen will too. I went to a indoor range so I couldnt rapid fire..their rules.. It is much easier to disassemble and clean than my 1980's Ruger Mark II 22 pistol.
