So.. no hockey, no wood to chop/stack

Every Pirate has a few few firearms stashed here and there. This is a place to talk about everything from front-stuffers to machine guns and everything in between.

So.. no hockey, no wood to chop/stack

Decided to finish a couple of projects in the gun room yesterday.

Back before the big hype here in MD; the infamous ar scare... I lost my mind and bought a bunch of stripped lowers.. when I probably should have bought a m1A and a couple of lowers instead.

Anyways, been buying the parts n pieces and putting some together... one went to the oldest son for Christmas one year, a tacti-cool with lights n everything.. another became just a paper puncher for me and the youngest... third started life as a potential 3-gun but got repurposed.

So, with absolutely no chores or hockey, the wife not having had chemo for two weeks was into doing her thing.. I locked myself into the gun room and cranked out three lowers, switched the paper puncher into a magpul tacti-cool paper puncher, added a scope, bipod and switched out the forearm for a free float turning the 3gunner into a coyote gun; and finished the two twins....(same barrels, consecutive numbered lowers, same free float handguards) for The Critter and I. Were supposed to be long range paper punchers, but he being 13 is into tacti-cool like his older brother... oh well..

Oh yeah, the twins are sporting Spikes Jolly Roger lowers, skull with crossed swords... for you guys :D

Sweet !
When you take your kid hunting and he says thank you and tells you how much he loves being in the woods with you, your day just isn't going to get any better than that.

Caution its addictive....

Dependent on your skill level and tools available, I would suggest a polymer80 poly lower. Can do with a drill press and they supply the jig and bits. I aint no expert, but for what we do, the polymer lower does its job.
