Nice looking calls Ed! If I ever get out of this hole I am in I will placing an order for a new call. Hopefully before this spring!

Yeah we have pretty good turkey hunting here. I didn't get one this year but I only went out a couple times because I was spending all my time trying for a bear. I did miss one though when he came in unexpectedly and I had to shot laying down :oops: .

Don't know if it's yellow poplar :oops:

I buy 1/4" poplar stock at Home Depot. I'll ask next time and see if they have an answer. Whatever it is it has good tone quality, it is plain to look at but makes one of the better sounding calls.
