Hank, why counter clockwise? I have done it that way and really liked it but it is not natural. Not that clockwise is. Counter seems easier on the wrist, mostly I am just looking to understand why? I seem to get the best results now that I have been really focusing on the release by pushing the bow. The string just seems to come out of my fingers when I can remember to do this. I also seem to drop my bowarm less.

It is just harder to do it clockwise for a right hander. The bow pushing thing is a good thing, as well. I think one of the top oly guys pushes thru the clicker and doesn't pull his back thru it.
