Yeah I have been noticing something similar. I got some shooting tips about a month ago and have been implementing them. My draw went from 27.5 to 29" and all my bows are now too heavy. So I have been shooting the bow I built for my wife and can hold at draw for an eternity. Even though the arrows could be tuned much better for me they are in the ball park and I am stacking arrows at 25 yards like never before (many 3-4 inch groups). I am loving the low weight. Now I have to build me a new bow 5-6 lbs lighter.

I bet that back wall on the compound is a big bonus too. Nice to have something to pull against.

Funny that I find this thread. I shot with a guy at the Tennessee Classic that told me if I wanted to shoot better, shoot a compound bow. I called my Mom this morning and told her to bring her 50# PSE to me.

I think I am getting pretty much the same benefits by doing Jay Kidwells drills, but I am going to shoot the compound some.
