Hank, check out this LB grip.

I've been wanting to show you this grip on my Harrison American Wolf, from the old Fontier Archery days, for a while now. But I just got around to taking off the old grip and starting to sand off the old finish that was peeling in a couple spots.

Check it out and think about what we were talking about with the Dakota Recurve grip.

I never could get used to this grip, but that's because I was still trying to shoot LB's like I shot 'curves at the time. If I did "grip it like a suitcase" this was the most comfortable and accurate LB grip I'd ever shot.

Next year when we come out to the Libby shoot you should bring all your toys for show-and-tell.

When is the Libby shoot next year?

Well sure...but I usually have to sell my toys to buy new ones...just sold that Black Swan and my Elburg to buy the Kramer. Don't regret it a bit! Now I've got to sell a Palmer to pay for a couple sets of limbs for the Firefly.

Oh, I've never been to Libby, but I'm going next year.

Hank, if you grip it "suitcase" style that hump sits right ontop of your lifeline. When this was my "go to" bow, I was shooting with much more of a stiff bow arm, and I preferred a very light grip with my hand further behind the grip and palm more horizontal than vertical. Which made this grip uncomfortable and even though I love the performance of the bow (only bad thing about it are the tips and the grip in my opinion), I wasn't consistent enough with my hand placement.
