"NEW" Hoyt Satori ILF Recurve

Postby Jim Casto Jr » Sun Jan 01, 2017 12:45 pm

I see Hoyt has released a new hunting riser/bow in ILF. It's called the Satori and is available in 17", 19" and 21". I've got two Dorado risers that I had ILF'd by jonhdo. I really like those things, but these have really got my attention. I can see a couple 21" risers in my future. It looks like the Dorado with beefed up limb pockets.

HEY! DOES ANYONE NEED ANY LIMBS, RISERS, ARROWS, TOOLS, THE WIFE? It looks like it's time to empty the pantry to make room for new toys. :)

I'll bet they sell well too, John. I'd also bet the Buffalo and Tiburon's days are numbered. :o

I was torn between a Dorado and a Titan 3.....went with the Titan 3. Looks like Hoyt melted the two together :D

Great looking bow....never been disappointed in a Hoyt ;)

I sent Hoyt an email asking a couple questions. Here's their reply:

1) YES. The Satori risers are drilled and taped to accept a plunger or the included riser plate.
2) As those bows haven’t actually “launched” (will be released at the ATA show) currently you should be in the 2-4 week area depending on limb choice. Bamboo Cores on the X-Tour Traditional limbs could push you back 6 weeks.

Bamboo cores??? Are those ILF?
You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

ILF? Yes, indeed. It looks like they're about to offer several different limb lengths in different materials.
