POA will NEVER be the same again

Postby Yohon » Mon Sep 28, 2015 11:13 am

With heavy heart I found this AM that Topcamp was found in the woods near his home apparently died from a heart attack. He was to meet a friend for breakfast this AM and when he didnt show or answer cell phone they started looking and his brother found him in the woods where the Pine Ghost lived. Apparently he was checking camera's/scrapes and passed yesterday afternoon, they found him this AM with his border collie's still there with him apparently. Im sketchy on the details but he really liked this place and the people that kept it going so I wanted to get the word out. Damn shame........

POA will NEVER be the same again

Ditto.... Don't know what to say.

If Topcamp could ever pick a time and place to go, I am sure it would be fall of the year in his deer woods on the eastern shore.
You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

Farewell to my good friend and one hell of a unique character. What a pisser. Life is fucking unfair.

Oh my! A horrible sense of fear (or something) came over me as I read this, John. He was perhaps the most unique (in a very good way) individual I ever had the pleasure to be acquainted with.Speechless.

I'm glad he left this world on his own terms, doing what he loved, but god damn I'll miss that man.

At least it was doing what he loved and not in a car accident or something. You will be missed Burgess. Was really looking forward to having some time with him in a couple weeks!

I will sure miss that old turd. Just saw his brother at a funeral last week and said Burgess was doing fine. I figured the way he ran and watched what he ate he would live well into his 90's. We just never know I guess.

Can't get the right words out at this time...all I can say is "I'm gonna miss you, buckaroo!"

RIP Topcamp. I never met him, but always felt like he would be a cool guy to shoot a 3D round with or talk whitetail hunting with.
