Lassie's come home!!!

Postby Feral Donkey » Tue Sep 25, 2007 5:07 pm

:D My baby made it back. The one that started all the termoil and made so many need Depends. That gloss powdercoat is tough because it still looks brand new. It's even got a new S&M laced up leather grip that Pete put on it.

For those you you who don't know, this is the very first riser I designed and made. This is the origonal Black Sheep. It's been handled now by more people than you can shake a stick at. It's done a complete lap around the United States going from person to person and now I just picked it up from the post office.

And could someone please tell me what the hell these are? They came from out east somewhere and were added in the box by either Burgess, Bob, Yohon, Mike, or Chad.

Cool avatar.

No, they're a little too small for that. They're like 1/4" in diameter and have what looks like a #6 tapped hole going through it.

I'm thinking that one picture of Christina agulara on the bed airbrushed on the inside of the sight window would work just fine on that riser.

I don't know what those are. I don't think they were with the bow when I had it.

Actually FD, I think that would be pretty cool. See if someone could rework it to look like some old WWII nose art from a bomber. And maybe some sharks teeth wrapping around the riser at the stabilizer hole.

Hey, that S&M grip was from some "AAA" car upholstery scrap leather that just missed the cut on some 700 series Beemer, or Benz S series AMG...lol...

...even if it did end up looking an awful lot like some bad Carl Lagerfield add...

I love the Avatar suggestion, and I believe that was the ONLY bow Gino's still ever shot a robinhood with...

I liked that bow. Then I got my New and Improved Sheep and I love it. Now the Firefly. Which I haven't had time to put through all its paces and try all the configurations. Currently I see no need for improvement. They just keep getting better and better. The red and black did of the first one did get some looks and comments down at the range. Just goes to show the kind of pervs I shoot with. :D

What kind of comments? We're they shooting glittery, shiney target bows?

Yeah, they were either captain camo (with a 1' stab) or all glittery (with 3' stabs hmmmm). Of course the guys that shot it all remarked on the grip, weight, and low noise factor.
