the 54 was the first uear of the working recurve-the rarer ones have walnut risers and also the shorter ones are valuable (56")
there are 2 dates on your marker.Your life is the dash in between.

That's a good looking bow. Why didn't the compass thing ever take off? Seems like a pretty good idea.

I agree, it's a great idea and more importantly it looks cool. :D

The compass Kodiaks are "rumored" to have issues with riser failures because of the material removed for the compass. I'd wager that it's all bullshit.

You know...I've always thought the same thing. It is hard to imagine a catastrophic crack starting from that shallow hole. The compass was located below the grip...not in the sight window or near the throat of the grip, right? Jim

I'm going to look around for a bunch of small compass'. I think it's a great idea!

Wow..that looks near new & with all the trimmings too. That should go pretty high.
