looks like it could be some figured bubinga. BK went with my first impression of what it was until i read the thread a little further. right when i saw the pics i thought it was either kingwood or figured bolivian rosewood. with age, the harder/denser zebrawood can get a nice "patina" going which can make it look similar to those colors.

since i know that bubinga is heavily used in production bows, i'd bet that is what we are seeing. here is some pics of the bow i sent scott. the limbs are highly figured waterfall bubinga veneers. without the glass over them, the veneers look very similar to the bow in this thread.
