Ever seen one marked like this before?

Postby KODIAK » Sun Mar 15, 2009 9:07 am

Heres a 1960 Kodiak on Ebay right now. It's marked 55-60#. I've never seen this before on any Bear bow except the cheapies from the late '70s. The earlier bears always had the exact poundage on them. Wonder what the story is... :?

I don't know. I would guess a special order for two draw lengths and/or persons sharing the bow. Anyway, it would make an ideal late birthday present for me! Anyone wanna make me real happy & grateful?

That looks like someone refinished the bow and wrote that on themselves. It doesn't look like Bear's way of doing things.

I think you may be right George. The serial number itself doesn't look too kosher either. 7-NX-151?? That doesnt seem right.
