Postby dkard » Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:39 pm

Just saw a couple old Pearson Javelinas for go almost $200+.

About a 2 years ago $90 was a high price on those.

Everything averages out, but.....they don't make them anymore and people are looking for older bows nowadays, especially since the economy is in the pooper. Those old bows shoot just as well as new ones and for a fraction of the price. Keep an eye out, there are still plenty of under $150.00 bargains. I just bought a really nice Wing Red Wing Pro, 50# in great condition for $132.50 including shipping. That's a bargain.

George is right. I have bought 5 Pearson bows in the last 6 months, and one Bear Bearcat and a Root.. I am keeping two Pearson Pintos, and will be selling the rest. If you can put up with some stress lines, you can find older bows for less than $100 sometimes. Other than a beautiful refinished Pinto, all were bought for less than $150, and two were less than $100. The new bows available for less than $150 today, will be out performed by most older bows as George says. Bill
