Going on the Auction Block

This is an almost pristine Super Grizzly from the dreaded Victor days of the mid 70's at Bear. One just like it went for $255.00 on the 'bay less shipping. It's a bit on the sluggish side but it does shoot very nicely.

Not a fan of the Victor days, futurewood, the wide limbs or the blocky wooden tips, but that is a pretty nice lookin' Griz considering. :P

Hope you get alot for it. Some real fans of the greenies out there.

What's the difference between the Griz and the SuperGriz?

Those things you said, LOL! Honestly, I think it's mostly marketing. "Fascor" & such. Really not much (if any) design changes from the greenies. There are certainly no improvements over the earlier Grizzlies. To be fair, this bow would probably gain a lot from a better string, but it would still fall short of older models. I think I might shoot it against 56" one before I put it on ebay - & I bet it loses! Even with a better string I think it might break 160fps. I dunno. But it's one of those bows that feels a lot better than it is, especially with lighter arrows, but even heavier ones appear to be shooting flat & fast. At least out to twenty yards, LOL! Really, fine for hunting/shooting. I really do like shooting it, and I'll probably never find another in this shape; but then, I'll probably won't be looking for one either, LOL! Still, I hate parting with any of my children; even the red headed step kids!
