Dang Jett
Your getting good at the picture thing.
I just traded my 65 KM for a Steve Abbott long bow,
I met Steve, love his bows, and have been kicking myself for not buying one, before he went out of business.
Funny KM's were not as pricey as they are now, when I got the '65 KM, I was buying a guy's factory camo 61 Grizzly, and he threw the KM in for 50 bucks.

Something I read, and now have noticed,
If you take the pic with a darker background it makes your bow jump out.
Your pics are good just throwing it out there.

Damn! I keep having to log in everytime I go to post. Just was agreeing that the K-mags have really gotten high dollar over the last 3 years or so.

Yeah, I usta have green blanket I used for ebay photos. This is a gray sheet. But they're coming out okay.

How did the '61 Grizz come out? That's a year I don't have.

Nice bow Jett. The last year of the really nice K-mags imo. In '71 they stuck that godawful stabilizer hole in 'em. :P

Those 61 camo Grizzlies are a scarce bow. I could count on one hand the times I've seen one on Ebay. I wonder what's under the camo?

Btw I agree with the dark background thing. It can really make a bow pic pop.

My 61 camo Grizzly 50# is not as nice as the 1, that just sold for 430+ on ebay (Raineman's)
Some love that bow, mine might be tired or something, but its kinda a dog in the shooting lanes.

I have a '59 Griz that was 1/2 factory camo when I got it,I was like Forest Gump with a box of chocolates.
stripping the other 1/2 off, but it was rock maple with white glass, and got a homemade frog pattern camo job over it,
I am thinking about stripping it again and trying to match Freds leaf pattern camo that originally came on it.

I am the worst collector you will ever meet for posting pics.
I hope to be fixing my picture hosting site account soon, and will put my little bit of bow porn up.

Kurt
Len 300 has a unusual Kodiak on ebay right now 56" 55# @ 26 or something like that, had to be a custom order bow.

kbel - You think you're bad at the photo thing, LOL! I usually don't take photos of anything unless somebody else is with me. I used to take a camera hunting with me, but I gotta concentrate on one or the other. I'm thinking of just putting in some time in with field photography this year, probably when I'm scouting.

Kurt, it must be this one? Rare length and poundage but not a special order. Those bows were offered in 56", 60" and 64" lengths. The short ones were measured at 26" just like the 60" 1956 Kodiak Specials. The hardcore guys on Tradgang could tell you more about it I'm sure. Wade Philips has every configuration ever made I think. Nobody knows more than him about pre-1962 kodiaks. I love reading his posts over there.

Len 300 has some CHOICE bows.

I love that, I'm always learning,
I never heard the 26" draw being on the shorter length's bow's, make sense.

If you guys get a chance sneak over and look at the weird one,
bow docs got up in tg history/collecting, near the top something like "ever seen this before"
