Howatt Del Ray questions

Postby Cutty » Thu Feb 05, 2009 10:40 pm

I've developed something of an unhealthy fixation with the baroque styling of the Howatt Del Ray and have a couple questions about them. How long were the risers on the "68 models? What were the heaviest draw weights the "68 models were made in? Were they all rosewood?

The risers were around 21" between the fadeouts. They were available in 62", 66" and 69" lengths and draw weights up to 55#. White glass was standard, although I HAVE seen a few examples with other glass colors. And, yes.....they were all rosewood. Large, honkin' chunks of rosewood.....Probably contributed to the depletion of the South American rainforests.
