Finally found my 69 Super K.

Postby George D. Stout » Fri Jun 11, 2010 12:23 pm

Well after perusing the big auction for a few years now, I finally ran across an affordable 69 Super K. It was dirty and stained from years of lying in a garage, but took to cleaning up pretty well. A slide show is attached; not a perfect bow, but very good condition and a surprising 51# draw weight. And no....I won't try the fastflight on this one 8^)))))....B50 only. Click on photo for slide show.

Awesome George. My Dad had one just like that and he hunted hard with it and took alot of deer. I finally talked him into letting me have it and I got it re-finished not to long ago. He said he never knew there was such a nice lookin bow under all that camo tape ;) Id really like to get a deer with that bow this season!!!!

Beautiful bow! Th Super K's have always been my favorties.

Yohon, I have an old Super K that I set up as my late season doe buster last year. It got so cold and we had so much snow that I never got to take it out during late season. I will have to do my best to bloody it up this coming season!

An older guy I work with has that exact same bow but left handed in 45#s. He said he heard that was the bow Fred Bear shot so he just had to have one. I think he was in high school at the time.
