And this I'm guessing is a Wing Thunderbird?

Nope, I have one. My file is too big or I would post a pic.

Well I didn't see the second pic. Could be, the handle looks like it's on backwards.

That's 2 different bows that's going up for auction this morning locally. I'm more interested in a toolbox full of archery stuff that's going up for auction too. My friend I work with shoots left handed and he's interested in both of the bows. I think that target bow looks like a Herters?

I was thinking Herter's for the target bow also, but I can't put a name on it. They made so many variations.

It's a Groves target bow. Not sure of the model. You can tell by the riser/limb design.

The top one was a Wing. It went for too much money, something like $150. At the same auction some guy paid $65 for an old hickory boardbow. I was floored.

That's what irks me about auctions a little too. I've gotten some great steals, but mostly people just pay too much; especially if the Amish show up. Auctions can be good entertainment though; my wife & I went fairly often B.C. (Before Children)

The Amish are often hired to stand in the crowd and ride the bids up on items. Amish are another form of gypsy trash.
