I shot with my good friend Chris this afternoon. I shot like dogs#!t and Chris shot very well. He ended up with a score of 243 (12X). I am amazed at these scores in the 270s. That really is some amazing shooting.
The good thing is I had Chris scrutinize my form since my shooting has been so inconsistent. (well, it has been consistently bad) I think we identified a big part of my problem so I'm withholding todays pitiful score and will be going back later this week.

Good shooting guys!!

I am not even remotely in contention for anything other than last place. I'll just be shooting for myself.

Your gonna have to fight me for last, Mike.
Man, I shot today with a sight. I forgot how easy it can be.I am pretty sure I could give Joe a run for his money, if I shoot with sights and he doesn't. lol. I may have to change my equipment designation.

A 20 yd. indoor target score of 242, shot barebow, isnt average..it is a really good score, especially considering that most on here are using hunting weight, and most on here dont have much experience with shooting this type of stuff..Myself included...A 242 average with barebow would make Me happy...Good shooting, Ernie!..Jim

Ernie,

It looks like a 242 average over two days at the 2007 NFAA Nationals would have placed you 6th for the Adult Male Traditional Class. Not sure what you were shooting, but that will give you the idea.
