This is my busy season at work so I just saw this. The biggest challenge for me hosting the event is finding a place and making a shooting machine. It may be a few weeks before I have time to look for a place, but I'll check into it in November. Kirk, I'd love to attend WTT at your place...lol. Like many have said, it will be hard to follow up the job Ken did. It might be a good idea to split things up, such as someone host the location, another person build the machine, another person coordinate the video, etc., etc. Jim

Very good idea Jim! See?,,, always thinking. :D
I'll supply the shooting machine (if whoever hosts it even wants to use it) and I do think I know who could put together the next video for us...... ;) uhhhh ...BK? :) there . so far two bases are covered..
People used to say that I'd never amount to much but I can always say Ive served as a bad example!

If you find someone to film it, I can make the video.

If Ken sends his machine and BK will take care of the video, then all I have to do is find a place...in that case I'll be glad to host the event location. I have a couple of places in mind: a local archery store with an indoor range or the local VFW hall that also has parks and rec outdoor BBQ pavillions and an outdoor shooting range that I actually helped build. I can edit the raw footage and produce DVD's. I have a professional video editing set-up for doing side-jobs on occasion.

I don't have a professional camera. You would still need someone willing/able to do the filming.

But, if anyone else who comes for the weekend brings a home DV Camcorder, and does a little extra filming of the "social" aspect of the weekend, I can also take that footage and use it in the DVD.

Jim...I like the VFW idea

Yeah, I'll host it if Ken will bring or send his shooting machine and BK will take care of the video. It is likely that I can build a shooting machine by then. April 16-17 or April 23-24 look like good possibilities? We want to miss Easter and Mother's Day holidays. Jim

Again. I'm happy to do the post-production editing & DVD authoring, but the shooting part is gonna have to be done by someone else.
