Hey Bob, lets just say for sake of hypothetically speaking I got the final cut from ben and after watching it thought that there were a few areas yet that I thought needed a little "touching up",, ,, Is that possible to do off of an already made DVD??.....like the one Id be getting.

Yes, kinda. Without the raw video, you are limited to using what you see on the screen, minus transitions. If there is a second audio track (IE music) you would have to either drop all the audio or leave it all chopped up. I don't think there would be any CODEC problems, but I have had it happen before using raw video, so I'd have to see. Ben is also using Adobe instead of Final Cut Pro, so I'm pretty sure I can't even take his work and edit it, though I've never tried. I could rip the entire DVD and open it in Final Cut, but it's pretty major surgery.

In a nutshell, it's best to let Ben do it.
