Last order of WTT bizz

Postby Kenro » Tue Apr 21, 2009 8:43 pm

What IF ANYTHING do you guys want to do for awards. My thought is gift certificates to a place like binghams or something but if the classes are broken down the entry money wont go far dividing it up between WTT T shirts, paying the camera man a small cut and the rest to hand out. I doesnt matter to me to have anything but thats me.

You all throw out some ideas here and we'll see what we can do. :D
People used to say that I'd never amount to much but I can always say Ive served as a bad example!

Send it to Sapphire Traditional Archery and I'll take care of it.. :?

Seriously... lets do one of a couple things here.... or both...

The guy who "may" have the event next year might be able to use the money to buy materials to build a good shooting machine? Or even rent a space to have the event?? IF you aren't having it...which Ive heard you say you didn't really want to, but it seems like a good venue..

2... Howabout a traveling trophy...we could have 3.. the standard bow trophy, the hot rod trophy and the pretty bow trophy... We could make them plaques or whatever...and your name would be engraved on a brass plate on the trophy...we could go back and do the last 2 years event also...

Other than that...????

make sure you cover your costs ken---you donate enough of your time and families time --you should not have out-of -pocket expenses!!
other than that braggin rights are enough 8-) -[IMO]-prizes might change the flavor of the event--maybe not right away --but eventually....

I like the ceremonial traveling trophy idea. I'm bringing a broken double carbon bow that we could cut in half and mount each half on a base. I'm thinking it could be awarded to anyone who's bow explodes...lol. Jim

My brother sent me some firecrackers from South Carolina that are as big around as my thumb. I'll bring those along. :D

Wasn't someone from overseas sending their bow over here to be sold after the competition? How abouts we buy the bow and give it away as a prize?
