Graeme, I sure hope you can come "up" to WTT this spring. It would be great to meet you. I'm impressed with your recurves and hope to see them in person. I could pick you up at one of the airports on the way from Missouri to Green Bay if that would help (St. Louis, Chicago, Madison, Green Bay, etc)...or some of the Wisconsin folks have offered rides too (Marc, FD, Ken). Hi Jim

Thanks for the offer -- we will have to see how I am going for time as the date comes closer -- I would love to be there but I have to try and get production set up so it will continue while I am away for a few weeks.

"I have to try and get production set up so it will continue while I am away for a few weeks."

What are you referring to Graeme? Are you a pro bowyer or something else?

Would be a cool trip...especially if you are into bows! It sounds like you are!

Hi Ernie
Yes I own "Downunder Bows" -- we should have a web site but at the moment we can only make a couple of bows a day and all of these go to supply my partners archery business in Italy. With a bit of luck we will be able to increase production next year and sell a few bows on line but right now I am flat out doing enough to supply the existing demand.

Thanks... good to know! Keep up the hard work! Are the bows in Italy marketed under the same name?

Isn't that a bad ass statue!!!

Hi Ernie
The bows are marked as Downunder Bows but they are listed as "Downunder Picchio Recurves " on the Italian web site -- see link below.

http://www.e-archery.it/

The bows are fairly plain by American standards since the market prefers understated designs -- seems to work since they buy more than we can make.

Hi Ken
I was not trying to keep it a secret or anything -- I filled out the Pirates Directory, even put a photo of my ugly mug and my beautiful wife ( see page 7 )

Talk about sand bagging! Nice work Graeme.

Look at the side profile on these picchio limbs... http://www.e-archery.it/shopping/index.php?id=14

hmmm...lots of special curves in there with a special purpose. Reminds me of the Morrison and Border statics...hmmm. :ugeek:
