My next project this fall is to tweak my hybrid...but I don't know what to expect out of it. I'll have to buy a chrono, and Ernie, I may need to get some of that blem carbon from you to try after I tweak the layup a bit with glass. Last year, my hybrids went 180 with heavy limbs, so I'm optimistic that this form can go at least another 5 to 10 fps with a better layup and lighter tips. Jim

jim- when i saw your hybrid on the video at WTT, i thought then that it looked like it had real potential..... i think you will be over 190 pretty easy.

btw, i was obviously kidding about me and the 11gr/lb thing    . i'd really like to see my hybrid aproach the 195+ range.... i need to spend some more time with it though. my recurve is the one i have faith in. ;)

nah kirk, shes not in shooting shape, unless you hold a bunch of lams together and tie a string on the ends. ;)

Gino, I hope you're right about my hybrid! Hats off to you in designing a fast recurve...195...wow. That's a fast recurve. They're harder to optimize in my opinion.

Maybe we ought to try some IBO stuff on the hot rods and see how fast we can really get these bad boys! Draw them to 30 inches with a 4 gpp arrow and see if we can get 275!!!

i'd be up for that E.... i have some arrows set up for that metal recurve i built that are just over 6gr/lb. set them up for longer target shooting..... it has handled several thousand shots with those arrows with no signs of any issues. might be fun to see what they will do at IBO.

kirk- i think you will be surprised to see what your bows can handle. :D
