in all honesty kirk, i think ken's bow or another hybrid will edge out my recurve by a fps or two. he has had nearly a year to work on his rocket launcher as that new design of his was in it's design infancy at the event last year. i got my recurve to go close to as fast as i possibly could 3+ years ago..... i have farted around and farted around and can't make it do any better than i did 2 winters ago which was only about 4fps faster than the year before..... basically what i am saying is my pea brain is tapped out all i think i can out of my limb design. ken on the other hand has had a year (by the next event) to tune and tweak..... i think his bow WILL hit 202 or so. the beauty part is, ken has kept no secrets and thus, everyone here has bennefited...... because of that, i expect to see a good number of bows in the 190s and several that will give him a run for his money.

i also expect to see a number of bows in the 190s in the hunter class..... i know its possible both with hybrids and recurves.

Speaking of "sand badger" i wonder if he's lurking and laughing at us, or ignoring us all together? if that guy starts breaking out the carbon, we are in trouble i fear....

i'm thinking seroiusly of just entering my first bow with the slighty twisted limbs, and just calling her good...

nah kirk, he is still around.... i just talked to him on the phone last friday...... i agree, i think if he starts adding composites to his equation that we are all in trouble..... or, depending on your perspective, in for a learning experience.

Based on what Badger has said lately in the primitive chatrooms, I don't think you have to worry about him changing over to glass and carbon composites. Steve loves wood. He's around and will probably read this. ;)

Would there be enough time for a broadhead shoot out. 3 arrows, shooting with the wind, 11 grains per pound minimum, draw the bow as far as you want as long as the arrows weigh at least 11 grains a pound at the distance the bow is drawn. Longest distance wins a photo with " Mr's krakow WS 2008". Ken will arrange the whole thing! Steve

A broadhead shoot would be great fun. I'm sure there would be time during the afternoon, especially if we get all of the bows weighed on Friday. Jim
