I have been reading this whole thread and seen the video.

badger told me about this event and i might send in a bow next year from a Swedish
manufacturer.
Not that it would be faster then kens bow because it isn't
but as you said, a bow can have other qualities.

Impressive speeds.
Ken - not only do you make superbows, you hold a good event.

One thing i was thinking about during the video, in respect to wooden bows
is that if there is a way to fix the release mechanism that would be very good.
I saw steves bow on full draw abit longer then i would enjoy my own bow being held.

This is a small thing and please don't think I am being overly critical because
the wtt happening at all is something big(for me and in my eyes)
Ken did a very good job shooting the bows.
But a wooden bow performs best (and likes it best) if it can be drawn and shot in one fluid motion.

But on the other hand a bow should also be build so that it can withstand being held for a bit without breaking,
as i said, it is a small thing and you are probably already working on the release and have it
improved to next year.

Griffin, can you tell us about this Swedish bow and possibly show some pics. I may remember you mentioning this before? Jim

Mike
Thats kind of a hard one to answer but Mike Robins bow instantly comes to mind. I will say that it seemed that badgers bows,Steve Q's recurve, Ernie's Sapphire, and my bow were among the quieter bows when shot by hand. but again none of these bows had silencers either. Being almost a year ago thats a hard one to remember. Sorry I cant be of more informative answer on that.

Thx..
What caught my attention while watching the video is at one point in time a bow is shot and folks are talking, not paying attention and they stop to ask what was just shot because it was so quite. Must have been his?

Are you making bows for sale to the general public?
