Good to see you back and good luck with your new business!

America is indeed a wonderful place...either coast has much to offer, but I am probably biased towards the West Coast Hera...its the one closest to the Rocky Mountains, the elk, mule deer, bears and cougars....

The big open spaces... anyhow...there are LOTS of options...

hera, I was also wondering how you are doing. Also wondering if you have had a chance to use some of that bamboo you harvested. Those power fibers really caught my eye as I am learning to build bamboo flyfishing rods. My first rod caught fish and didnot break so I guess I did it right even it is not the perfect rod. We use Tokin cane bamboo imported just for rod building. I wonder if your bamboo would work?
Hope you get to making another bow soon. We all enjoy your work, Tom

Thank you Tom.
Now I'm busy in my new job ,I think I will re-start building bow or something in 2~3 years later.

I like fishing, and bamboo fly rod will be my next project.

My bamboo (hayata) are dryed now after long long drying time(6ms).
These boo are old(about 10 years old),far beyond cemerical harvesting age(3~4 years old)
so I think these boo are more stiff then common one.
Hope it will work in bow or rod building in the future.

Hello, Mr Hera I love your projects as well as its finished. I'm impressed the way he makes those few tools, (could you please send me a copy of the template riser), a greeting and thank you very much
