Well tonight I am going to refletch all my woodie arras and then take my alluminum bare shafts and attempt to groove my draw by shooting into a bag a few feet away. I am not worried about flight or spine just getting through the draw cycle completely and consistently. Shall see if this helps when I shoot another round this weekend.

105...I scoff at that...I should easily be capable of 106 this time.

consistency would be nice. having never shot a 300 round before, I'm guessing that towards the end of the round that form becomes the biggest factor in hitting the target.

New goals for me. I got my new Excel riser setup and shooting. Last week I used my Vision with mismatched arrows and posted a 211. That was the lowest I've shot in 5 years. I really broke down my form with the video camera this last week and found a huge flaw. In an effort to get a lower bow shoulder I lost any semblance of good alignment. But it was one of those things that I could't see without using a camera. I lost an inch of draw last year and thought it was because I improved my form. Now, I regained that inch of draw and my whole shot sequence is 100x better.

I shot a practice round with my new rig of 249 using the same mismatched arrows. I did some more tuning and shot my score for week two. I shot a 269, 12X! Woohoo. I feel like I'm back.

So, my original goal was 250. My new goal is to shoot a 280 by the end of this.

My first goal is complete...FINISHED A ROUND WITHOUT BUSTING OR LOSING AN ARROW.

I beat my 105 too and shot a 111 :D
