Some kind of printing press or embossing machine is my guess.
When you take your kid hunting and he says thank you and tells you how much he loves being in the woods with you, your day just isn't going to get any better than that.

Some kind of press for sure; that trough at the bottom indicates some renderings are going in there. :D

The rack and gear linkage looks to be set up so that the wood center plate goes up and down.
No idea :?
