Well Saturday night I finally got it done on a sika. Shot was only about 7 yards and deer went about 70. I was worried about the shot so I backed out to the truck and had a few beers before going back in. Sorry no hero shots as it was about midnight and I was by myself and just wanted to get the meat in a cooler.

You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

Congrats again Bud ! I was really glad to get those pictures and the text, you shot yours 7 days after I shot mine and out of the same spot at about the same distance ! ;)

Now like I told you, go find your own spot ! ...lol... 8-) Just kidding !!!

This storm looks like it's going to be here this weekend so I won't be over there again until sometime later this month. I hope you and Jim get a crack at a Stag, I want one BAD ! ;)
When you take your kid hunting and he says thank you and tells you how much he loves being in the woods with you, your day just isn't going to get any better than that.

Such beautiful animals, I would love to hunt them some day. Too bad they aren't a little more spread around. Maybe NZ would be the key.
